Hill Country San Antonio
Custom Deck Builder in San Antonio & the Texas Hill Country
Ground-level, raised and multi-level decks designed around your home, your lot and the way your family actually lives outside.
Custom Deck Building built for Texas living
A great deck starts with the lot, not a catalog. Hill Country backyards are rarely flat, often rocky and usually framed by live oaks you want to keep. We design every deck around those realities — the slope, the view, the afternoon sun and how you plan to use the space — and then build it to last through Texas summers.
From a simple platform off the kitchen to a sprawling multi-level deck that steps down toward the view, we handle the whole job: design, HOA and permit paperwork, footings, framing, decking, railings, stairs and lighting.

Custom Deck Building questions
How long does it take to build a custom deck?
Most residential decks are built in one to three weeks once materials arrive and any HOA or permit approvals are in hand. Larger multi-level projects or decks with covers can take longer — we give you a realistic schedule with your quote.
Do I need a permit for a deck?
It depends on your city or county, the height of the deck and whether it is attached to the house. We check the rules for your address and handle permit applications and HOA architectural submittals as part of the project.
Can you build on a sloped or rocky lot?
Yes — that is most of the Hill Country. Sloped lots are often the best candidates for a deck because it creates flat, usable space where a patio would need extensive retaining walls.
Wood or composite?
Wood costs less up front and has a classic look but needs regular sealing in our sun. Composite and PVC cost more initially but resist fading, splintering and rot with very little upkeep. We walk you through both on site.
What areas do you serve for custom deck building?
We provide custom deck building throughout North San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country, including Stone Oak, The Dominion, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Helotes, Leon Springs, Fair Oaks Ranch, Boerne, Cordillera Ranch, Cibolo Canyons, Timberwood Park, Bulverde, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake, Garden Ridge, Encino Park, Sonterra.
