Hill Country San Antonio
Custom Pergolas in San Antonio & the Texas Hill Country
Cedar, wood and aluminum pergolas that add filtered shade, architecture and a spot for string lights over your deck or patio.
Pergolas built for Texas living
A pergola defines an outdoor space the way a ceiling defines a room. It adds structure and filtered shade over a deck or patio, frames the view and gives you somewhere to hang string lights, fans or climbing plants.
We build custom pergolas in cedar, stained wood and low-maintenance aluminum, freestanding or attached to your home. Want more shade? We can add tighter rafter spacing, shade sails, polycarbonate panels or an adjustable louvered roof.

Pergolas questions
How much shade does a pergola provide?
A standard open pergola filters sunlight rather than blocking it. Rafter spacing and orientation make a big difference, and we can add panels or louvers for full shade.
Wood or aluminum?
Cedar and wood give a warm, natural look that fits Hill Country homes but needs periodic sealing. Aluminum is nearly maintenance-free and comes in wood-look finishes.
Can a pergola go on top of a deck?
Yes. We often build them together so the pergola posts are anchored properly through the deck to footings below.
What areas do you serve for pergolas?
